Review on Kuragehime

Image
This anime is a 12-episode anime produced by FUNimation Entertainment, Brains Base, Asmik Ace Entertainment. Kuragehime's storyline revolves around the daily life of Kurashita Tsukimi, a girl who loves jellyfish, living together with her geek friends at Amamizukan apartment complex wherein no boys are allowed. This anime's characters are kind who show their beauty not with their good looks but with what they really are, and how they love the way they look and become true to what they really love. The story lines are pretty cool for this anime going out in different directions and a t once point keep intersecting with one another. Kuragehime's characters are rather unique from the typical anime style drawing that we are used to some example are the afro-styled girl in the apartment. Kuragehime's characters, and the awesome storym and the simple but pretty art and the enticing music come together and create an anime that stands out among others of its kind. ...

Review on Morita-san wa Mukuchi

Image
This lovely anime series is basically about a girl named Mayu: a shy and quiet high school student who always takes so long considering what she is going to say and in the end, she ends up saying nothing at all. I mean seriously why do some people tend to do this. Take for instance that there is a certain situation between her and another character and after the other person has spoken, it takes her for a while, the moment is already gone. Morita-san wa Mukuchi is just as amusing and as head-tilting as it is. It may only interest a handful of people considering how some do not find a quite animated series as something so much entertaining. Regardless of how it may sound pointless, it offers what most anime do not have: finding the deeper sense or meaning of each scene. It has its down times, but it definitely offers as much humor as possible. This anime may look boring for some but as you go with the storyline you will eventually understand and still go for another look wi...

Review on Meganebu!

Image
Meganebu is an anime full of colorful things making it to stand out. It is indeed a great anime to watch. The show is about a group of guys wearing glass of course in a glasses club. This club is very passionate about glasses and is awfully striving to create a genuine pair of x-ray glasses. The things they do don’t sound that exciting when described, but the animation style and the timing of everything really makes this show stand out. You guys really have to see this show to fully experience it. The trailer does not do it justice at all. I haven’t seen a show quite like this in a long time. It’s incredibly unique and highly stylized. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much during an anime. I really like all the transitions and visual representations that occur during the show. I’m not really sure where the story is going to go here, but it’s so funny that I don’t really care. People who like glasses and the hilarious antics of those who wear them. This anime s...

Review on Ro-Kyu-Bu!

Image
Ro-Kyu-Bu! is purely an sports anime, but as opposed to male characters as the main ones. This anime is actually has heroines instead. As luck would have it, Hasegawa Subaru finds the Basketball club he joined suspended due to their leader falling for the eleven year old daughter of the coach. His aunt then offers him to coach a Basketball club composed of elementary school girls which he is reluctant to teach at first, but later on grows to even be passionate about it as he devotes his time into teaching them, all the while knowing how the situation is so complex for them. Ro-Kyu-Bu! is composed of such cute, funny and so adorable female leads. Ofcourse as what anime viewers should expect on this kind of anime. Guys may like it for not only the main sports is basketball but also due to the ecchi scenes it brings, but that does not automatically mean that girls cant watch this anime. So I can say every gender must enjoy the show and find yourself laughing along with characters ...

Review on Baccano!

Image
This anime series has its own way of presenting itself to its audience. We were presented with small events such as witnessing the legendary journey of the transcontinental train, Flying Pussyfoot in Chicago, the search for the missing bottles which will be used for the immortal elixir by an ambitious scientist Szilard and his right-hand Ennis in New York, the alchemists who boarded the Advena Avis and knew about the price of gaining immortality and the war which is getting worse between the mafia groups. Though the first episodes may seem blurry for the whole story but still this are the keys in completing the amusing storyline of this series. Baccano! is based on the award winning light novels which bears the same name. This will focus more on the supernatural events from alchemy and any other things, immortality and on how to survive from all of the inter connected events which will happen as one coincide with the other as series goes on. Filled with black graphics ...

Review Nurirahyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou

Image
A bunch of supernatural or demon-themed series has been popping out one after the other since the beginning, and many are so interested with that specific genre since it goes beyond the boundaries or normality, or basically routine. As humans, living everyday without much excitement or chance that in the sense it will get dull, people end up being attracted to these type of titles. Nurrihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou is about a supposed average middle schooler named Nura Rikuo, who is in fact the grandson of the master of a youkai clan. When an enemy of their clan soon shows up, he has no choice but to awaken the demon blood and power hidden in his blood. I like this anime in the sense everything is all about the said genre no associated things just perfect as it is. It is an enjoyable show for those who prefer something that breaks the borders or normalcy. So viewers who like demon-themed anime should definitely watch this. Overall score is 8/10: This anime series is ...

Review on Katanagatari

Image
For me adventure-themed anime is always entertaining but some actions leads to boring episodes and even worse, bad artwork of the characters development. However, in the case of Katanagatari, it has a feeling of drawing the attention of the viewers as if they were playing an RPG game viewing as the third person. The main protagonist is the seventh successor of the Kyoto Ryu, or bladeless, Yasuri Shichika. He's living in a peaceful island with Nanami, his sister. When he was suddenly visited by a mysterious girl named Togame. This fateful encounter soon led to him being asked by the new arrival to help her in locating the final twelve swords that were forged by Shizaki Kiki, the legendary master swordsmith. However, as in most journeys, it is never easy to obtain what one seeks, and is this case, they have to face 12 people who each possess and protect these swords. Katanagatari's graphics may be little bit childish but still its popularity hits most of the anime as...
