This anime is all about life and mecha. The story revolves around a boy named Atsushi Hayami and a girl named Mai Shibamura. These two have completely different personalities. For one, Hayami is very simple and very cautious and whenever he pilots his mecha. On the other hand Shibamura is cold, very militaristic in nature. Let's think of her as a lesbo but she isn't. The two are millitary school students who are assigned to fight off monsters called Genjyu in a posion gas-polluted Earth.
