Strike the Blood or SutoBura is a japanese animation based on the light novel authored by Gakuto Mikumo. The story revolves around the worlds strongest vampire known as The Fourth Progenitor. Feared by man, a vampire that only exist in Legends who spread calamity over the land together with his 12 kenjuus. The most feared monster suddenly appeared in japan in the body of Akatsuki Kojo, a highschool student. Because of the sudden appearance of the 4th progenitor the government and Lion King decided to dispatch an attack mage known as a Sword Shaman named Himeragi Yukina.Now yukino is on a mission to observe the progenitor and execute him if he ever make a disaster.
This anime for me didn't catch my attention at the start. the way this anime progresses is slow which is good for viewers to follow and understand the context. but there are many anime lover you rate the anime they watch during the first part of the first episode. so most of the anime now brings their best during the first part to get an outstanding chance to get the audiences' attention. Story wise i cant argue that this anime has a plot that a hardcore shonen / battle anime lover looks for. what i only dislike about this anime is that characters just randomly shows here and there so it's a bit confusing. There are characters who's identity are not explained or showed hints for their part. this anime has a very awesome plot, and the artistry is also a good plus. this anime is really good to watch as it progresses.
I'll rate this 8/10 needs work with the story.
