Inuyasha Review

Inuyasha is an anime adaptation to the manga created and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. Inuyasha is a series about Kagome, a high school girl who lives in the grounds of a shrine that their family is taking care of. One day when Kagome was looking for her cat, She went inside the well house and was dragged down into the well by a demon with the form of a Centipede. Kagome found herself in danger since the Demon mistaken her for the Priestess who protects the Shikon Jewel ( A jewel possessing very powerful magic ). since she really looked like kagome. While in danger, Kagome met and released Inuyasha, A half demon who is sealed on a Tree with a magical arrow Through his Body.  Inuyasha defeated the Demon with ease but shattered the Jewel across japan. Inuyasha together with Kagome the reincarnation of The Jewel Priestess Kikyo started their quest to collect all the Shattered parts of the Jewel to avoid it to fall into the hands of Demons or Humans who will use it for Evil.

I really had a hard time balancing this anime between liking it or hating it. The plot of this series is amazing in the sense that it is strong enough to stand as a shonen fighting anime. There are elements that seemed to make it a good anime but at some point there are some elements that breaks this animation. First lets go with the Positive element. What i like about inuyasha is the historic / Legend style of Drawing since the setting is set off an era long ago. The characters also amazed me since inuyasha differed from other main characters from a fighting anime that is usually overpowered. But inuyasha has his own strength and weaknesses which is great. The animation and artistry is also good mixing Humans, Beast, and demons into one context is a huge plus in this type of anime. What i really don't like about inuyasha is the repetition of plots and fighting scenes that made it a bit terrible.

Overall i'll rate this anime 8/10
