Zero No Tsukaima Review

Zero no Tsukaima also known as The Familiar of Zero is an anime adaptation to the light novel written by Noboru Yamaguchi. The comedy / fantasy themed anime started airing on July 3 2006 with merely 13 episodes all in all for the first season. The story began in Tristain, a small country located northwest of Halkeginia. Studying at Tristain Academy of Magic is Louise De la Valiere a noble who is not that gifted in terms of using magic. Every time she tries to cast a spell, it will result in an explosion. When a Student reach their second year, They will perform a special ritual to summon a Familiar who will be their partners for the rest of their lives. Since Louise is already famous of a zero percent magic percentage, Louise summoned Hiraga Saita a regular boy from japan. Summoning a human is rare for mages like Louise. This made a bit of a stir in the story when they learned that Louise is a Legendary Void Magician.

I believe that this anime will really go far in terms of its story. having magic or fantasy as a genre is already too common now a days but Zero no Tsukaima managed to pull of a unique flow. the only thing i kind of disliked in this anime is a touch of being an ecchi shonen anime and i really hated that. but the one good thing about this anime are the characters. The characters are very well made and you will not have much of a dull moments watching the anime.

Overall i'll rate this 8/10 this anime will surely improve!
