Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge Review

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is an anime adaptation to the manga series written by Tomoko Hayakawa. The title means The perfect girl evolution. This adaptation has 25 episodes which aired on October 3, 2006 through March 27, 2007. The story revolves around 4 handsome boys who lived in a beautiful mansion for free under one condition. They need to transform the niece of the owner into a perfect lady.  The four of them agreed with out seeing the girl first. When Sunako the niece of the owner arrived, they were startled by how she looked. More like SADAKO from the ring. And because they promised the owner, they are on a quest to change sunako into a perfect lady what ever it takes due to friendship they manage to make with sunako and because the want her to be a perfect lady for her aunt.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is one of those anime that plays between the lines of being a slice of life anime to a semi fantasy anime. This anime will be interesting for female anime lovers but males are also welcome because of its sense of humor. For the plot, it's really easy to understand and follow since the story was meant to be simple. But note, the writter is good at making simple stories into complex one to make the story interesting. What i also like about this anime is the way they present the characters. The MC or main characters have good exposure and has their own selling point. My personal favorite is the main character Sunako, Sunako manage to retain her habits even in the final episode and when her looks changed. I also liked how they transistion Sunako from being serious to a comedic character specially when she turns into Chibi Mode. Chibi Mode really makes things better for the anime. Even if some of the comedic strips fail the animation can make up for it. There are only two things i dont like about the anime. First is, The anime only focuses solely on 2 Main characters and most of time leaving the sub characters undeveloped. and Lastly, some of the stories and plots seemed repeated.

But over all i'll give this anime an 8/10 too much focused on the 2 main characters leaving the other not memorable.
