Blood+ Review

Blood+ or Blood Plus is an anime series produced by Production I.G and Aniplex and directed by Junichi Fujisaku. The animation is based on the anime film Blood : The Last Vampire. Blood+ revolves around the life of Saya. At the start of the anime, Saya is an ordinary school girl who lives together with his foster father and foster brothers. One incident happened that changed Saya's life, A Monster called a Chiropteran attacked Saya and she was immediately saved by a mysterious man carrying a casket named Haji. Saya suddenly awakened when she drank the blood of Haji and remembered that she is the only one who can stop the rampaging Chiropteran. With the use of a special sword carried by hanji, Saya uses her sword infused with her blood to defeat the monster. Now Saya is on the quest to find her true self and the truth about the Chiropterans.

Blood + is one of the animes that amazes me in terms of sword fights. Not because of the rigid battle scenes, but because of the way the parts are being delivered. I can give this anime a very high score for its magnificent animation and character delivery. The plot of this anime good but it can be better. I can't say that it's perfect because there are times when the story is a bit confusing. Initially the story is very easy to understand, But the transition of the story is the reason why it's confusing. At first the story is full of action and after a blink of an eye it turned out to be dull and boring. The negative effect of the way they change the story kills the good part. even if the animation is amazing it can't fill the hole the story left. It turns far too worse around the ending part since it gets too confusing. the final battle will leave followers with mixed emotions and in opinion it is a bit irrelevant since it was supposed to be the finale. I can tell easily that the producer and the author is confused on how to end the anime. If the anime is given a chance to fix all of the negative aspects i believe it will be a very good anime. But nevertheless it's still a good anime to follow so you will still enjoy some gore battle scenes against MONSTERS.

I'll rate this anime 7/10 : A Bit confusing, needs improvement.
