Beet The Vandel Buster Review

Beet the vandel buster or Adventure king beet is a manga adaptation to the series written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada. The anime has a total of 52 episodes that started airing around september 2004-2005. This anime sets at the Dark Ages where vandels (monsters who kills humans for pleasure) creates havoc in the contenent. Adventure king beet revolves around the journey of a boy named Beet on his quest to defeat all of the vandels. Beet is considered Vandel Buster, a group of people fighting Vandels and defeating them using there Tengeki, might it be weapon made from tengeki ( Saiga ) or purely tengeki itself. Beet's dream was to join the Vandel Busters Zennon Warriors to defeat the vandels. When Beet's home town was attacked by Beltorze they were defeated when the Vandel Attacked Beet when he was seen. Because of Beet's condition from the attack, the group gave there Saigas ( Life Forces ) to beet for him to survive. After the Beet woke up both Beltroze and the Zennon warrios are no where to be found. Beet, Together with his companions are now on a quest to fight vandels to attain peace.

Beet the vandel buster also known as Adventure king beet is a fairly interesting anime/manga. The story of this shonen type anime is somewhat similar to other animes with the same genre. Humans Vs Monsters is already too mainstream, almost all of the anime in this genre have similarities. This anime is not that bad though. there are some redeeming factors that makes this anime worth the time. First is that the way the characters are presented is good. Giving the characters their own time to shine gave me a bit of respect for the anime. Second, The story has its ups and downs. Initially for a shonen battle manga they really need to push their limits in terms of giving twists and great plots. Safe to say this anime isn't that great in terms of story, but they did redeem themselves in terms of a good twist at some point. The Biggest redemption i can give about this anime is the idea they have for the Weapons and the ability the characters have. This anime is basically good for male viewers, but there are some aspects that will make the female followers watch the anime. This anime is certainly on the middle level for me since it can still improve.

I'll rate this anime 7/10 some plots are cliches to other animes of the same genre. Needs more push to a better plot.
