Angel Beats! is an anime adaptation to the story made by Jun Maeda who also wrote the screenplay and the shadow who wrote the animation's Music. Angel Beats! follows the story of a group of students at a certain school intended for those who died without accepting their deaths. The Student are obliged to follow the rules with the help of the so called Angel (Kanade Tachibana) until they can accept their deaths, be reincarnated by "GOD", and will leave that world.
Yuzuru Otonashi: A new face at the school, Woke up besides Yuri Nakamura (Yurippe) the leader of the SSS brigade who opposes God and angel. The brigade continuously plan activities to create chaos so they will not be reincarnated and be at peace. At first Otonashi didn't know that he is already dead and didn't believe what Yurippe said when she tried to recruit him to the brigade. But when he was with the group, he later know the reason why they are rebelling against God and Angel.
Soon enough Otonoshi manage to talk to Angel (Kanade) and befriended her and they found out that angel is also a girl who died and was sent there. now they are on the quest to find what is really happening in that world and to accept that they are already dead and find peace.
This anime is one of the best i have ever seen. as usual for epic animes, they are sometimes HANGING. Yes, this anime is hanging for me and there are countless questions and parts that needed explanation and answers. Initially the start of this anime is a bit slow and a bit questionable in terms of the genre. and the character Yurippe made me think of Haruhi Suzumiya. For me this anime couldn't stand without the humor and the crazy story line. there are minor and major loopholes in the story that makes its follower question the story. The redeeming factor for this anime is the drama and the Songs that will make your heart melt. This anime already receive positive feedback from many critics so basically this anime is really interesting.
I am going to give this anime 9/10 since it's a bit hanging
