Review on Deathnote


Deathnote is a japan-made anime series. It is likely a good anime to watch for those who likes mysteries. Deathnote also has an antagonist-protagonist main character just like Code Geass who's Kira also known as Yagami Light. Deathnote is all about crimes, deaths and mind freaking scenes. This anime will give you enjoyment.


The story revolve around a young man named Yagami Light. He was an ordinary student back then 'till one day a bored reaper from the underworld dropped his notebook and found by Light. The notebook has a special power in which if you wrote the name of a person in it, he will die. The one who wrote the name must have seen the person, and if the person's name is in the notebook he will die in heart attack after 40 seconds upon writing the name unless the writer write what's the death cause. Yagami Light, an ordinary student became a mass murderer in the help of that notebook. On the other hand a young detective vowed himself to catch Yagami alias Kira, L, a genius detective who have been solving crimes for a long time. Now try to know what happened by watching this crazy anime.


The background of this anime is gloomy and dark with a theme of crime and solving mysteries. There is also a little bit of weird romance flowing in this crazy anime. But still it didn't change the theme of the story.

Overall score 9/10:

 This is my 2nd favorite anime.

Buzzer Beater Review

Buzzer Beater is a 13 episode anime adaptation to the work of Takehiko Inoue which was serialized in Shueisha. The manga itself can also be viewed in Takehikos's Webpage in  Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean. Buzzer Beater is one of the many basketball themed animes. The series Center Hideyoshi Tanaka, a basketball prodigy at a very young age. Hideyoshi plays with the human team to compete in the inter galactic basketball games. All seems good about their team and the rivalries aside when hideyoshi learned something about himself. Buzzer Beater is one of the many basketball themed anime i tried watching. To be blunt, i am really confused about this anime. The plot of the anime is actually quite interesting and it had potential. but i am not sure if this anime could go head to head against anime with the same genre. Let me start with the "good" part.
