K-ON Review


K-On! is a Japanese comic strip manga written and illustrated by Kakifly. The story revolves around a certain club in Sakuragoaka Girl's High School, the Light Music Club. Yui Hirasawa a freshman student in sakuragaoka haven't decided which club she will join, thus being tagged a "Neet" by his friend. Yui tried finding a club suitable for her and found the Light Music Club thinking that it will be easy. (note Yui Doesn't know how to play Musical Instruments aside from castanets). The light music club was supposed to be disbanded due to lack of members. The freshmen who wanted to reestablish the club are Akiyama Miyo and Ritsu Tainaka who then recruited Tsumugi Kotobuki. Since they still lack 1 member to retain the club, they invited Yui to fill the slot and promised her that they will teach her to play the guitar for them to make a band.

This Seinin / slice of life anime is probably one of my favorites.(note: I'm a guy). The feeling watching this anime is really unexplainable. Music lovers and wannabes (sorry for the term) will really enjoy this. The story itself is very smooth and the pacing is slow for the readers to understand. This anime is full of morals that will make you think about your life. Being able to be productive and never give up are some lessons that one can get from this anime.

I Cant think of any words to further review this... this anime is certainly AMAZING

Buzzer Beater Review

Buzzer Beater is a 13 episode anime adaptation to the work of Takehiko Inoue which was serialized in Shueisha. The manga itself can also be viewed in Takehikos's Webpage in  Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean. Buzzer Beater is one of the many basketball themed animes. The series Center Hideyoshi Tanaka, a basketball prodigy at a very young age. Hideyoshi plays with the human team to compete in the inter galactic basketball games. All seems good about their team and the rivalries aside when hideyoshi learned something about himself. Buzzer Beater is one of the many basketball themed anime i tried watching. To be blunt, i am really confused about this anime. The plot of the anime is actually quite interesting and it had potential. but i am not sure if this anime could go head to head against anime with the same genre. Let me start with the "good" part.
