Howl's Moving Castle Review

Howl's Moving Castle is an animated film made by Hayao Miyazaki based on the English story by Diana Wynne Jones. The film aired world wide on september 5 2004 except japan who had their premier on November 20 2004. The Story follows Sophie, A very talented hatter who met a very strange guy who is a powerful wizard named Howl while she was on her way to her sister's bakeshop. Little did Sophie know, Howl is being pursued by the The Witch of the Waste who is in love with him. The Witch herself went to Sophie and asked the poor girl to serve her, since Sophie declined the witch cursed her and turned her to a 90 year old woman.

Sophie is now on the quest to find cure for the curse as she journey through the wasteland she will meet her destined friends and she will soon learn the secret of the great wizard Howl.

I don't want to be biased since I really admire the works of Mr. Hayao Miyazaki. But to someone who already follows his work will easily understand when i say that Howl's Moving Castle is a masterpiece. Even if the story is based from an English novel, Mr. Miyazaki added his own twist on both the story and the characters without changing the entirety of the original novel. The story gives a really smooth aura from start to the end which will make you crave for more. The first part of the animated film has enough action and thrill that can make you hold on to your seats. The next parts will give you a bit of cooling down that will ready you for the ending part. Overall this work deserves a standing ovation.

I'll Give this 10/10 from the characters, the plot, and the Story. Kudos!
